The Allgaeu Skywalk is an extraordinary opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Allgaeu from an entirely unique perspective: Wander through the forest canopy on the treetop trail and see the fantastic views over the Alpine foothills.
Experience Allgaeu from the air with the Skywalk
The Allgaeu Skywalk is made up of two ground-level nature trails through the Allgaeu Forest, plus a spectacular treetop trail: More than 500 metres of suspension bridges and viewing platforms between the trees in the forest of Scheidegg, where you can take in the landscape of Allgaeu and the Alpine foothills as you never have before.
The treetop trail is accessible either by stairs or a lift in the lookout tower. This makes it easy for families with small children and prams as well as customers with limited mobility to enjoy the views over the Bavarian landscape from the Skywalk.
The Skywalk impresses from the ground as well
Those preferring to experience the forest from the ground will enjoy the Skywalk’s two nature trails. One is well suited to adventurous explorers who prefer to trek through rough dirt tracks. The other path is paved, and even wheelchair users can enjoy the beauty of the Allgaeu forests with ease.
Younger visitors in particular are often especially impressed with the barefoot path: They can explore the forest floor, wood and flat stones all without shoes and socks, allowing them to experience first hand how nature can feel. Those looking for a less sensual experience can try their hand at powering through the obstacle course.
