The special exhibitions at the Lindau Museum have become an indispensable part of cultural life on Lake Constance and are reaching an increasingly wider audience beyond the region. Since 2011, the Lindau Museum has been showing classical modern art in its major summer special exhibitions.
The new Hundertwasser art forum will open its doors in 2025, inviting visitors to experience Hundertwasser’s work in all its diversity and visionary power. Over a period of five years, this unique institution will dedicate itself to one of the most important artists of our time in an exclusive series of four exhibitions with different focal points. The series kicks off with the exhibition ‘The Right to Dreams’ from 15 March 2025 to 11 January 2026, which offers fascinating insights into the multifaceted work of this extraordinary artist.
The exhibition presents a diverse selection of works, from early watercolours and paintings to Japanese woodblock prints and screen prints, which unfold a unique expressiveness through his technical innovation.
