Since 1923, the small, traditional Hensler coffee roastery, which enjoys an excellent reputation among coffee connoisseurs throughout Germany, has been operating on the beautiful island of Lindau. In this extraordinary atmosphere, the world’s finest coffee beans are refined with passion and according to old traditions.

The name Hensler Kaffee stands for outstanding coffee specialities – the aim is to achieve the perfect combination of quality awareness and love for the craft.

However, this craft involves not only the roasting process itself, but also the search for the individual flavour secret of each coffee variety. This endeavour takes the Hensler family on a journey of discovery around the globe, enabling them to refine raw coffees of the highest quality using a traditional drum roasting process.

With great attention to detail and constantly new recipes, the team at the Hensler coffee roastery creates aromatic and low-acid coffee and espresso varieties of above-average quality, because here, coffee is the true black gold.

Visit the Hensler family at their location on Lindau Island, where they have a green coffee warehouse, roastery and a small shop. Here, you can not only feel the southern flair of Lake Constance, but also the passion for the coffee trade. Come by and see for yourself.
