Inatura is one of the largest and most modern natural history museums in the Lake Constance region. In addition to an interactive exhibition, it also serves as a documentation centre for nature in Vorarlberg. Understanding how nature works – at Inatura, this is taken literally: touching is expressly encouraged there.

A great nature museum, especially for children

An interactive exhibition awaits children and adults in Dornbirn, allowing them to experience nature with all their senses. Younger visitors in particular will get their money’s worth here: the focus is on trying things out, playing, experiencing and understanding. Animals and plants can be observed at close range in a wide variety of habitats, and physical phenomena can be discovered in the Science Zones.

The museum takes you and your children on a journey through the typical Vorarlberg forest and introduces you to the region’s water and mountains. You will gain an insight into the wonders of nature, mankind and its technical achievements. At over 40 stations, children can actively learn to understand the world. The range of topics related to technology, which deals with technical and physical phenomena, is also taught to children in a playful way.
