Open space in a dream location

A good event location not only impresses with suitable premises and technical equipment, but also with that certain something. The Inselhalle Lindau offers exactly this wow factor that will inspire you and your guests: on one side, it borders the historic old town of Lindau Island, which exudes a very special flair in all seasons with its romantic, winding streets. On the other side is the lake – and with it the opportunity to let your gaze wander, your thoughts flow and your horizons expand. No wonder, then, that pioneers and thinkers, academics and ambitious individuals, scientists and artists have been coming together here for decades. Whether for cultural events or prestigious conferences, small workshops or international congresses: the Inselhalle can accommodate up to 2,000 people – and offers plenty of space for encounters, insights and visions.

One hall – 46 room configurations

At the heart of this flexible building are three combinable halls, the largest of which is ideal for plenary events with up to 1,100 guests. Ten conference rooms on the ground floor and two more in the basement are grouped around this core. Thanks to a modular concept, this creates 46 possible variations for events of all kinds and sizes – from galas to workshops, from seminars to get-togethers.

Tradition meets modernity – and nature

The Inselhalle, designed by Munich architects Auer Weber, is also a visual highlight of modern architecture that blends in perfectly with the island: the striking polygonal roof in its copper colour echoes the look of Lindau’s old town roofs; generous glass surfaces provide an unobstructed view of the lake and greenery. The adjacent 2,500 square metre Therese-von-Bayern-Platz is used as an additional activity area for many events. The consistent architecture is continued in the Inselhallen car park P4, which offers 400 parking spaces in the immediate vicinity of the event location.
