In 2021, Lindau will become a garden beach: the garden show will refine the entire city into a sensual overall experience from 20 May to 10 October 2021. Not only on the island of Lindau, but also on the mainland, you can then enjoy the variety of green and colourful and experience a lot.

Journey to the Garden Show...
… by train
The train will take you almost to the gates of the Garden Show grounds. From the station, it is only a few minutes’ walk to the South Entrance of the Garden Show. From Vorarlberg, you can travel comfortably with a combined ticket from the Vorarlberg Transport Association (VVV). The ticket includes the day’s admission to the Garden Show and is valid as a bus & train ticket for the entire VVV route network.
If you travel by train, you will receive a €1 reduction on presentation of the ticket at the ticket office on site or at our Tourist Information.
… by bus
You are also welcome to travel to the Garden Show Lindau by bus. Just like by train, you have the option of a combined ticket from the Bodensee-Oberschwaben Verkehrsverbund (bodo). The bus stop is located directly at the North Entrance to the Garden Show. It could hardly be simpler. The Lindau city bus offers additional trips to the Hintere Insel during the Garden Show. Line 5 – in addition to line 2 – also serves the Western Island between ZUP and the Inselbahnhof. Until the end of the Garden Show, an additional bus will be used to reinforce the service on Sundays and public holidays from 10 am to 7 pm at half-hourly intervals between ZUP and the West Island.
… by car
To ensure that the city on the island belongs entirely to the visitors and the many attractions, we kindly ask you to drive to one of the designated parking spaces in front of the island. From there, you can take a relaxed shuttle bus to the island and thus to the Garden Show.
To give you an overview before you arrive, you can find the island and city map with all the parking spaces marked here.
